–Let us know the books you think will be considered classics one day!

I do not know a lot of books that would be considered classics, but I do have a few that I’d like to see as classics one day:

1. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Ever since The Hunger Games have been published, a lot of hype as been around it. And while this is “just a regular Young Adult book”, this series has a message from within. My mom once said that she could see something like this series happening in a few years. It could easily be our future, and that’s the creepy thing about it. It’s so realistic and accurate even to this day…

2. The Help by Kathryn Stockett

This book is great at representing how the “black” people used to live, and one white woman who thought she’d make a tiny difference actually changed everyone’s lives. I love this book so much and I hope it’ll be considered a classic one day.

3. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseni

This book is about a friendship between Amir, the son of a wealthy Afghan businessman, and Hassan, the son of his father’s servant. This book had many feels, and I can see this becoming a classic (if it isn’t already, since I had to read it for my literature class).

Sadly, I absolutely can’t think of any more books, so that’ll be it for today. I read that people thing A Song Of Ice And Fire by George R. R. Martin will become a classic, which would be awesome. I understand it however, since it displays the differences between the rich and the poor really well. However, I do not exactly see this becoming a classic. Of course a lot of people are going to choose Harry Potter for this T5W, but since I haven’t read the books (yes, shame on me), I didn’t mention it. With the popularity around Harry Potter that’s still going on for years and years, this might actually become a classic.

Have you read any classics? What books do you think will become or want to become future classics?
