Heya! It’s Friday, hurray! Tomorrow I have a free day and Sunday I’m working again, but that doesn’t keep me from reading! (Actually, it does, but I don’t want to admit it)
Now, a while ago I found this post over at Lauren @ Wonderless Reviews, and I immediately thought it was a great idea. The readathon comes from Aimal @ Bookshelves & Paperbacks . I requested quite some ARC’s in January and February, and then I suddenly got my own apartment (that I share with my sister), and I was really busy moving, and just about everything got thrown off schedule. My blogging schedule is going well again, but reading… not so much.
I also requested all my ARC’s via NetGalley and while I’m not really liking reading on devices, I don’t have another choice. However, I haven’t really found the one good reader that I like, so I’ll keep searching for that too.
Why is this readathon so amazing? Because there is no specific goal, no pressure, no anything. Just read as much ARC’s as possible!
When is this readathon? From April 1st (whoops I’m really late) to April 30th!
Social media? You can use the hashtag #AVAreadathon on social media, and of course share the readathon as much as possible!
And if that’s already not amazing enough, she’s hosting a giveaway for everyone who entered! If you need any more posts, you can look them up in her own post here!
And now, my TBR
These are the books I’ve already started reading, so I’ll finish those first.
I’m one of those few people who haven’t yet read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda, but I did really like the blurb of The Upside of Unrequited, so I’m excited to read it! True Blue is the first one of a trilogy, and I hope it’ll be amazing because then I can read the other two books as well!
Would you just look at that beautiful cover of Ashes To Ashes! The cover itself makes me want to have it on my bookshelf already haha
Look, more first books in bookseries! 😀
And, last but not least, this one with also a quite pretty cover!
I hope I’ll get to read all of these books, but I’m not sure I can do that. 3 of my colleagues left work, so we’re left with a team of 9 people over 2 shops, and that means a lot of hours for me. That is a good thing, because, more work means more money, means more new books, but it also means I’ll be working a lot and reading a little 😦
However, I will keep you all updated on my ARC’s and I told myself not to start another book this month until I’ve read at least half of these!
Do you have any ARC’s you’re dying to read? Or would you recommend me some (for next month haha)? Let me know!
Find me on:
